Consultation & Payment Terms

These terms apply to the 30-Minute Nutrition Care Consultation offered by The Gut Guru. By purchasing a consultation, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Purpose of the Consultation

This 30-minute consultation provides an opportunity to discuss what you're looking for support with, learn more about my approach, and explore whether insurance-based nutrition counseling or private 1:1 nutrition coaching may be appropriate for your needs.

This consultation is not a comprehensive nutrition assessment or initial nutrition appointment. It does not establish an ongoing nutrition care plan or guarantee acceptance into a coaching program.

2. Consultation Fee & Payment

The consultation fee is $50 USD, payable in full through Stripe before scheduling.

After successful payment, you will be redirected to Practice Better to select an available appointment time.

Payment does not guarantee a specific appointment time. If no suitable appointment is available, please contact me to discuss scheduling options or request a refund.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Your consultation time is reserved specifically for you.

  • At least 24 hours' notice: You may reschedule your consultation without an additional fee. If you cancel and do not wish to reschedule, your $50 consultation fee will be refunded upon request.

  • Less than 24 hours' notice: Cancellations and rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice are nonrefundable. A new $50 fee is required to book another consultation.

  • Missed appointments: If you do not attend your scheduled consultation, the fee is forfeited and nonrefundable.

  • Provider cancellation: If I need to cancel or reschedule your consultation, you may choose to reschedule without an additional fee or receive a full refund.

Exceptions for emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

4. Private Coaching Program Credit

If you enroll in my Functional Food Freedom Program following your consultation, your $50 consultation fee will be credited toward the cost of your private coaching program.

This credit:

  • Applies only to enrollment in the Functional Food Freedom Program.

  • Cannot be applied toward insurance-based nutrition counseling.

  • Is not available for consultation fees forfeited due to late cancellation or a missed appointment.

  • Has no cash value and cannot be transferred to another person.

5. Scheduling & Booking

After payment, you are responsible for completing your appointment booking through Practice Better.

Please use the same name and email address for your Stripe payment and Practice Better booking so your payment can be verified.

If you experience technical difficulties or cannot find a suitable appointment time, please contact me before making another payment.

6. Agreement to Terms

By completing payment through Stripe, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to these Consultation & Payment Terms.

You will also be asked to acknowledge the consultation-specific terms when confirming your appointment through Practice Better.
